Product Description
Most of us spend nearly all of our time living in the world of our mind. Our brain constantly “chatters” to us, keeping us occupied with past hurts and failures, potential future problems, current worries and concerns and an endless stream of “words” that flow through our mind. We are often encouraged to “change our mind” because we are told “as a man thinketh, so is he.” But what about our heart, the seat of our emotion, which has been relegated to a weak, inferior part of ourselves that can’t be trusted? Well, the scripture actually says, “as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Which means that what is in our heart is shaping our lives as much or more than what is in our head. In this presentation we’ll explore the power of the heart as a doorway to spiritual understanding and growth, improved relationships with others, and as a guide to greater truth and understanding. Join us as we learn why feelings matter, and why we should pay less attention to our mind, and more attention to our heart.
