Supporting Clients with Depression and Anxiety, by Laura Eliason
We’ll talk about life “hits” that can trigger anxiety and depression, and how to deal with them. You will get a wide variety of useful tips and suggestions to support clients dealing with depression and anxiety. The tips include information about music, water, exercise, sleep, deep breathing, light therapy, proverbs, nutrition, gratitude, and controlling your thinking. Some of the things are very easy to implement, but make a big difference in how you feel. You don’t have to be depressed to benefit from the ideas, and you can pick and choose which ideas work best for you. Wherever you are in your emotions, implementing these tips helps you to level up. This information is based on Dr. Neil Nedley’s work that helps treat the root causes of depression rather than just masking the symptoms with medicines.
