We kicked off our First Annual Foot Zone Conference with a tribute to Dr. Charles Ersdal – developer of the Foot Zone Technique. A Panel of Students taught by Dr. Ersdal shared experiences and memories from their time with him and the lessons they learned.
Jessie Funk: Featured Presenter
Jessie Funk holds a leadership certification from the University of Notre Dame, is a certified life-coach and is expected to graduate from Capella University in December of 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, emphasizing in child & adolescent behavior.
As a professional vocalist she has released five solo albums, with her 6th due out this year, has toured 36 states with the Broadway musical “Footloose,” has performed for former Vice-President Dick Cheney, as an opening act for Donny Osmond, Josh Grayson and Billy Dean, Kenny Loggins, Collin Raye and she has toured with Broadway sensation Maureen McGovern. She has also been hired for hundreds of recording sessions as a studio vocalist including songs heard on TV’s “America’s Got Talent,” ESPN and “The Biggest Loser.” Jessie has walked away from three record deals unwilling to sell her soul for fame. She chooses to use her voice to lift and inspire in positive ways.
Jessie has also been a professional youth speaker for eleven years, speaking for high schools and leadership conferences all over the country. She is a 5-time published author with her 6th book specifically for teen girls- set for release in the fall of 2014 with Familius Publishing in California. Her passion to help teens led her to start a national non-profit organization called “The Ivy Girl Academy,” a confidence and leadership-training program for teen ladies. Jessie sister-in-law and best friend are zoners and loves getting zoned regularly.
